1 week agoAn Antonov An-124-100 Ruslan heavy cargo plane (registration: UR-ZYD / call sign: MXM3721), belonging to Maximus Air Cargo, owned by the Abu Dhabi authorities, took off from Al-Rif Air Base in Abu Dhabi and landed this morning at Harar Air Base.
A cargo plane linked to the UAE Air Force, an Ilyushin IL-76 with registration number EX-76017 belonging to Fly Sky Airlines, departed from Benghazi bound for Ankara. This is the second flight for the aircraft in the last 24 hours. The plane had arrived in eastern Libya from the UAE on December 30th.

1 week agoReuters quoted a Saudi source as saying that the Yemeni government imposed restrictions on air traffic to and from Abu Dhabi and Dubai in an effort to de-escalate tensions, while the transport minister of the Southern Transitional Council refused to comply with the decision and issued an order to halt all flights, before deciding to close Aden airport.
